Wear The Nation Case:
With these stickers provided as a reference by the client it was up to us to work with the concept for an ad that was both quick and visually appealing. The results were both modern and fitting with the current generations need for quick presentation. It also gave us the opportunity to experiment more creatively by not having a set storyboard as to how each frame would move. We researched & experimented with a couple of concepts while staying true to the original retro panini stickers that were given to us by the client until we reached something that we liked and would catch the eye.
To design the stickers, we removed all blue colors and integrated the Coca Cola logo. This caused the stickers to fit the unique and well known brand aesthetic as well as being pleasing to the eye.
We were given the unedited footage of the models on a green screen by the agency to work on, so we had to find the best solution to make everything look perfect from the background colors to the lighting while maintaining the original style of the ad.
We worked and experimented on the stickers we designed to explore which direction we would go for in order to capture the general fast passed feel we wanted. without losing the strong brand identity we had in every frame. The draft was provided to the agency to receive their feedback.
In the end it was very beat oriented project. Every frame & every motion had to be synced perfectly with the music so that the end product would look as good. As a whole this ad combines 2 main aspects, the retro style represented in the Panini cards. and a fast paced style that would go well with the present time and most importantly the visual aesthetics .This would produce a catchy ad that would grab the attention of everyone in the room, without losing Coca Cola’s identity
